When To Go

Cruising to Tahiti is possible (and appealing) year-round. Overall the climate is ideal. The tropical temperatures and sun-soaked days are cooled by calm ocean breezes. While clear skies are common, there is enough rain to keep the greenery lush and the islands in bloom. Generally the weather is sunny and pleasantly warm.

The average yearly temperature (for both the air and water) is 80 degrees. Things cool off a little during the winter months from May to October, when the average temperatures dip down, but they go no lower than 68 degrees. From November through April, the summer months, the weather is a bit warmer and more humid but temperatures still stay comfortably below 90 degrees.
